Wrap Up

There is no doubt that this was the best Alabama Chapter Fall Forum yet! Lake Guntersville State Park provided a great location for another successful event. The annual event is co-sponsored by the Alabama Chapter of SWANA, the Alabama Department of Environmental Management and the Alabama Department of Public Health.

We had over 300 people participating in our two-day event. Our speakers covered a variety of topics, including the latest updates on GPS usage to the gulf coast clean up to hazardous waste issues.

Thank you to all those who attended and participated in the Fall Forum. We hope to see you at the 2011 Spring Seminar!

Past President, Tim Woody and President, Jim Ransom proudly hold the Alabama Chapter's Membership Award which was recently presented to us at WASTECON in Boston.
