Conferences

The Alabama Chapter of SWANA hosts two annual conferences a year (one in the spring, one in the fall) to discuss relevant solid waste issues. These conferences include technical sessions, regulatory updates, tours of local facilities and also provide members with a great opportunity to network with fellow solid waste members, learn about upcoming changes in the solid waste industry, and earn units towards continuing education credits. The Alabama Chapter of SWANA is always looking for new and exciting topics for our educational seminars and training sessions. 2010 SWANA Spring Meeting
March 1 – March 3, 2010

We are very excited to be heading back to the Perdido Beach Resort for our Spring Meeting, Monday, March 1st - Wednesday, March 3rd. We are scheduled to start the meeting with a Reception and Tradeshow on Monday afternoon, then hold education sessions all day on Tuesday and until noon on Wednesday.
